Hubungan Persalinan Lama dengan Nilai Apgar di Ruang Bersalin

Long labor is labor that lasted more than 24 hours for the primi gravid and more than 18 hours on multi gravid. These circumstances often lead to changes in gas exchange and transformation of oxygen during labor that affect cell oxygenation. Impaired function can be mild, transient or persistent. Depending homeostatic changes contained in the fetus. Homeostatic changes is closely related to the events that caused the score of Apgar aspeksia be low. This study aimed to investigate the characteristics of the respondents based on maternal age, parity and fetal weight. And to determine the relationship of prolonged labor with Apgar score. This study uses analytic survey conducted in the maternity room Ratu Zalecha Hospital Martapura. From 1 to 30 November 2010. The population in this study were all women who experience prolonged labor amounted to 88 people. Samples were taken by purposive sampling and using the case-control study 37 samples of cases are women with long labor. The variables used were the independent variables and the dependent variable prolonged labor Apgar score. Data were analyzed by univariate and bivariate analisis and chi-square statistical test with α = 0.05. These results indicate most of the 37 respondents aged 20-35 by 30 people, most primi parity as many as 25 people. From the results of chi-square there is no correlation of long labor with apgar score.
